After my rape, apart from desiring the role of motherhood, I desired the role of a hairstylist, hmm 🤔 hairstylists just like moms ultimately have control over someone else wow! I wanted control back because it was taken away from me!

As a hairstylist:

  • You’re physically guiding the process
  • You decide what happens and when
  • Someone is in your chair, but you are leading the outcome
  • There are boundaries, consent, and clear roles
  • You can “transform” something in a controlled, visible way
