Women Supporting Women: Inspiration Over Jealousy
- Posted on April 4, 2026
There’s this narrative that women are naturally jealous of each other. That when one woman is shining, another woman somewhere is secretly competing.
But honestly? That’s not my story.
When I see another woman who is attractive, thriving, successful, and walking confidently in her purpose—it doesn’t make me feel insecure. It inspires me.
It reminds me that it’s possible.
Instead of asking “Why her?” I find myself thinking, “If she can do it, so can I.” That kind of mindset shifts everything. It turns comparison into motivation and insecurity into growth.
The truth is, jealousy often comes from a place of feeling like there isn’t enough to go around. Not enough success. Not enough beauty. Not enough opportunity.
But there is.
Another woman’s glow doesn’t dim mine. Her success doesn’t take away from my potential. Her shine doesn’t block my light—it shows me what’s available.
We don’t have to compete. We can elevate.
And when women start seeing each other as inspiration instead of opposition, that’s when real power shows up.
So when I see a woman winning, I don’t get jealous.
I take notes.
