When Healing Is More Valuable Than Money

For years, I thought I needed money. People told me I needed enough to live well, to have security, to “enjoy life.” And for a long time, I chased that idea, believing financial comfort was the ultimate goal.
But reality hit me in the quiet moments: what I truly needed wasn’t money. I needed healing—mentally, emotionally, spiritually. I needed peace that couldn’t be bought, real joy that wasn’t dependent on circumstances, restoration for a heart that had been through storms, and a new life built on truth, not on appearances or material success.
Money can provide comfort. It can open doors, create opportunities, and make life easier in many ways. But money cannot heal trauma, cannot restore brokenness, and cannot replace the joy that comes from inner wholeness.
I realized that the real “wealth” is not in a bank account—it’s in a healed mind, a peaceful heart, and a life rooted in truth. That kind of wealth is eternal, transformative, and utterly priceless.
So, if you find yourself chasing money thinking it will fix everything—pause. Ask yourself what your soul truly needs. Healing. Joy. Peace. Restoration. That is where the true riches lie.
