God Is a God of Acceleration
It’s funny how God works.
For years, I felt behind.
Behind in healing.
Behind in success.
Behind in recognition.
Behind in life.
I went through losses.
I went through trauma.
I went through waiting seasons that felt endless.
I experienced rejection, silence, closed doors, and what looked like failure.
There were moments I wondered if time had passed me by.
But then something happened.
The very thing that “should have” taken years — happened in under one.
College would’ve taken four years. Maybe more with grad school.
Yet my book? Written and published in under a year.
Acceleration.
But here’s what I realized:
Acceleration is not the same as skipping process.
God didn’t skip my process.
He used it.
What looks like “sudden” to others was years in the making.
The trauma deepened me.
The grief matured me.
The silence strengthened me.
The waiting refined me.
So when it was time to move — I was ready.
My book wasn’t just written under a year.
It was written through every tear, every prayer, every moment I chose to stay alive, every time I chose faith over bitterness.
The publishing just caught up with the preparation.
Sometimes God allows long seasons not to delay you — but to develop you. And when development is complete, acceleration follows.
He restores time.
He redeems pain.
He compresses years into moments.
If you feel behind, I want to encourage you:
Maybe you’re not behind. Maybe you’re being built.
And when it’s your time, it won’t take as long as you think.
God is a God of acceleration.
And when He moves, He moves swiftly.
