My story is Legends of the Hidden Temple, except the temple isn’t ancient stone — it’s the church, the home, the rules I was raised inside of. Each room holds something they never warned us about: fear dressed as faith, silence mistaken for holiness, desire labeled dangerous instead of human. The artifacts aren’t golden idols but memories — sermons, side-eyes, warnings whispered to girls — and the temple guards aren’t monsters, they’re shame and authority, trained to stop you the moment you start asking real questions. The goal isn’t to escape the temple, but to move through it awake, to claim what’s true, leave what was never sacred, and come out with your voice still intact.

  • The temple = the church / religious systems / family structures
  • The hidden rooms = truths people don’t talk about (female desire, fear-based teaching, spiritual abuse, silence, shame)
  • The artifacts = lived experiences, memories, questions you weren’t supposed to ask
  • The obstacles = guilt, doctrine, double standards, control
  • The temple guards = shame, authority figures, internalized fear
  • The journey = unlearning, discernment, reclaiming self, faith, and voice

It’s not just a tell-all — it’s an initiation. Readers aren’t handed answers; they navigate them. Some rooms are confusing. Some feel dangerous. Some reveal beauty you were told didn’t exist.
