It’s funny how millennials are criticized so much, but reality is our generation is doing better than the older generations, we are more likely to think things through, many older generations baby boomers and Gen X were wild in their younger lives, big time partiers, drugs etc, teen and out of wedlock pregnancies, many married yes, but big time cheaters/bad spouses and even bad parents. Shot gun weddings were to cover their sins, hmm Reality is many millennials are open about their struggles, not pretending to be perfect and reality is many millennials are getting married by choice and having better marriages and staying married, a lot of millennials aren’t getting pregnant young or unmarried like that, some yes, but a smaller number, it’s a fact that teen pregnancy rates have declined, and many women in their 40’s are now having more babies, many millennials don’t drink or party, our generation is dedicated to health and wellness! Millennials are willing to do the work/therapy to heal trauma or bad habits! we are wiser, know what we want and need we don’t need the guidance the older generations needed we are setting a new standard. Millennials are also often better parents due to healing their traumas, they’re not repeating what their parents did to them!
