In 1995, I walked into preschool as a quiet little girl, not realizing I was stepping into a space that would begin shaping my voice. Preschool was never just about playtime—it was preparation. It taught me how to form letters, how to read, how to express emotions, and how to exist in a world bigger than my home. At the time, it felt small, simple… even ordinary.

But nothing about it was ordinary.
Every word I learned, every feeling I struggled to express, every moment of growth was laying a foundation. A foundation I didn’t even realize I would one day build upon.
Fast forward to 2025—I became an author.
And suddenly, it all makes sense.
The same little girl who was learning how to write her name is now writing her truth. The same child who was learning how to understand her emotions is now using those emotions to heal, to teach, and to reach others. What once felt like basic learning has transformed into purpose.
It’s a full-circle moment.
Preschool prepared me for school—but life prepared me for authorship. And now, I don’t just write words… I use them to free, to empower, and to give voice to the things that were once too heavy to say out loud.
What started in 1995 didn’t end there.
It evolved.
And so did I.
