Hmm funny thought but true: people criticize white families, but one thing about it white families are more open than black families, white parents often will let their children creatively express themselves more, they’ll let their 10 year old get green or blue hair, but a black parent will tell their 10 year old it’s ridiculous, silly, etc and I believe this is why so many black men and women grow up with self esteem issues and limiting beliefs, even in career prospects because early on many of us were taught that even small things weren’t realistic or were too much, wow!
