After surviving a traumatic experience, I went to cosmetology school. It wasn’t easy—drama with classmates, shady instructors, barely any clients. But somehow, I graduated quickly, even before people who’d been there longer. Soon after, the school closed.

Here’s the twist: the name of the school was called Platinum. And just like that, while the school ended, my book career began—and went “platinum” worldwide.

God’s favor isn’t always obvious. Sometimes it’s hidden in the struggles, delays, and detours. Cosmetology school taught me discipline, resilience, and how to do my best even when opportunities seemed limited. Those lessons prepared me for a calling far bigger than nails or pedicures.

Nothing is in vain: God was simply prepping me to be a winner down the line. That was a trial and error season, I finished cosmetology school in 2015 and then 10 years later published my book 2025!
