Finished on Easter: When Obedience Meets Timing
- Posted on April 5, 2026
Last Easter, something incredible happened in my life—I finished my book manuscript.
What makes it even more meaningful is that weeks before that moment, I felt God speak to me clearly: you will be finished on Easter. At the time, I received it, but I didn’t fully grasp how powerful that timing would be.
And then it happened—right on Easter, I completed it.
Easter represents resurrection, new life, and completion after a season of carrying something heavy. Looking back, I realize that my writing journey mirrored that in so many ways. What started as thoughts, emotions, and experiences I carried internally eventually came to life on paper. It wasn’t just about finishing a project—it was about releasing something that had been growing within me.
Writing the manuscript required discipline, vulnerability, and consistency. There were moments I could’ve stopped, delayed, or doubted myself. But I kept going. And when the time came, I didn’t just feel accomplished—I felt aligned.
There’s something powerful about finishing what you were called to start, especially when it happens exactly when you were told it would. It reminds me that obedience matters. Consistency matters. Trusting the process matters.
That moment showed me that what we carry has a due date. And when we stay committed, what’s inside of us will come forth—right on time.
This wasn’t just about a book.
It was about transformation.
It was about trust.
It was about becoming.
And I’ll never look at that Easter the same again.
