After my rape believing that I was pregnant was the easiest and most positive hope for me, pregnancy gave me the belief that my life was still certain and still had a future, even if a pregnancy is unplanned most women can still succeed, pursue their dreams, enjoy life, etc but rape took away that certainty, rape leaves a very uncertain future for the victim. Wow! I wanted certainty by all means! Belief is powerful indeed!
