After I finished writing my book I had no clue what date I’d pick for the release date, I knew before I even finished writing that I wanted to do a book signing so my thoughts were that the dates would coincide together meaning be on or at least around the same time. But again everything is in God’s timing. I got prayer at my church about which date to pick and I was told that the date would come to me. A few days later that was so, now at first I thought about releasing my book on 7/10 due to that being day of my scoliosis surgery in 2007, however I couldn’t do that date due to it being too soon for the book company, they had told me the book wouldn’t be shipped out in time for that date, so I continued to think then randomly 7/23 came clear as day due to that being the 2 year anniversary of my dog’s passing! I knew although he was gone he was in heaven watching me do big things and rooting for me to win, so I thought why not use my book to honor him and keep his legacy alive! 7/23 wasn’t a sad day anymore it was a day of double celebration my dog being in heaven celebrating and my book being released and me celebrating! I was celebrating his legacy and creating a new legacy all in one! Wow! 7/23 will always be a day to remember and a reminder of God’s restoration as well! Nothing can nor will take my Dog’s place, but God created something beautiful out of something painful. Scripture says He will give us beauty for ashes!
