Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young!

  • Posted on November 5, 2025

I remember when I was a few years younger than I am now I was having a conversation with someone older and I remember they said to me “I know more than you do because I’m older” reality is being young does not mean someone doesn’t know anything and age is just 1 factor. Reality is we can all learn something from each other. A 8 year old may can teach things to a 40 year old and a 40 year old may can teach things to a 90 year old. Reality is wisdom comes from God, but ultimately wisdom from God is for whoever is willing to receive it. It’s not only available to the older! Throughout my life I have had both older and younger people who have taught me things. The Bible says a little child shall lead them, also in The Bible it’s clear how Jesus felt about the little children He even said to not forbid them. Amen! You are not too young! Many scriptures in fact praise youth. Jesus himself was doing many big things as a child.

lastly understand this: Things in heaven vs things on earth are completely different. God views things differently, How He sees a 8 year old or even a 2 year old is different than how we do. God can look at a 2 year old and see them as adult meaning He sees them walking in their purpose already, He sees them

equipped and doing all He has for them to do. We just see a child as silly, cute and playful, but no, learn to see them how God does!

MATTHEW 19:14

but Jesus said, “Suffer little children, and forbid them not to come unto Me,for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven.”1 Timothy 4:12

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

Ecclesiastes 11:9

Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth. Walk in the ways of your heart and the sight of your eyes. But know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment. Isaiah 11:6 New King James Version

6 “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb,
The leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
The calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
And a little child shall lead them. Luke 2:41-52 King James Version

41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover.

42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.

43 And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.

44 But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day’s journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.

45 And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.

46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.

47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.

48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.

49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?

50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.

51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.

52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. Isaiah 55:8-9New International Version

8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
