Hmm 🤔 some parents unfortunately may make their child believe that they weren’t really raped by punishing/scolding them, or ultimately just purposefully disbelieving them, it’s a way to not have to explain to the child that they were raped/give them the language and reality of it, it’s also a way for the parents to not have to bear the burden and responsibility of rape either, a punishment is quick and easier unfortunately! Smh 🤦🏽‍♀️
