Hmmm 🤔 why talking to kids is so important: some think it’s good to not tell kids realities or what’s going on to keep them innocent, safe and childlike, but no actually talking is important for various reasons, think about if a child lives on a block where there’s drug houses, a kid may assume all the neighbors on the block are good people who mean well, so a person operating a drug house may invite them over and could introduce them to drugs early or drug them without their knowledge! Wow! Even with predators, a predator could lure a child inside with cookies 🍪 or candy and rape them or even murder them! Talking to kids about this stuff is important, even if you don’t talk to them about it, one day they’ll find out! Talking early about these things can protect their future!
