Why Writing My Book Was God’s Bigger Plan

I used to wonder if pursuing a career in fashion design or becoming a nail tech would have been the right path for me. On the surface, both seem creative and fulfilling. But the truth is, neither would have truly benefited me in the way I needed.
As a fashion designer, I likely would have been working for someone else, building their brand and growing their business. Even if I had been my own boss, the attention would still have been on the designs, the brand, the clothing—not me. Similarly, as a nail tech, the spotlight is on the work itself—the nails, the designs—not the person behind them.
Then I realized the power of writing a book, especially an autobiography. With a book, the focus isn’t on a product or a service—it’s on me. Every page, every chapter, every story is about my journey, my experiences, my growth. I am not just creating; I am being seen, heard, and recognized in a way that no other profession could offer.
This isn’t just about personal recognition. It’s about impact, reach, and legacy. A book can travel farther than a local boutique or salon ever could. It can touch lives, change perspectives, and inspire people across the world—even long after I’m gone.
God’s plan was bigger than I imagined. He didn’t just want me to work for someone else’s vision or build a career that highlighted my creations while keeping me behind the scenes. He positioned me to share my story, to make an impact, and to be known for who I am and what I’ve overcome.
Writing my book isn’t just a career move—it’s my purpose made visible. And finally, I see that it’s exactly where I’m meant to be.
