In high school I remember one guy had graduated at 20 years old literally, though he was older he never gave up or let his age deter him or even cared about the critics as many people teased him for being over age, he came to school faithfully and worked hard, and had confidence and determination that was unwavering, many times we judge people without knowing their circumstances. Whatever his circumstance was though, he refused to let it stop him or define him, he didn’t drop out of school, it’s some people who drop out of school young say 14/15 years old, but he preserved above the age. Wow! moral of it all don’t limit yourself by timing, trust God regardless.I remember this guy didn’t even try to lie about his age and he was such a eager learner, no need to be ashamed of your age, your circumstances or your past! Delays don’t stop God’s plans and remember you never know who you’re inspiring. Funny the kids who teased him may have graduated on time at 17/18, yet they probably ended up doing less than him. Life doesn’t have to follow a specific timeline/blueprint to make sense or hold value. Many times the testimony comes from simply not giving up. Just because something doesn’t happen on schedule doesn’t mean it’s out of reach. The people others deem as useless or damaged goods often are the ones who have the greatest impacts. No matter how many times you fall, you can always get back up. ECCLESIASTES 9:11 I returned and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. 1 SAMUEL 16:7 But the Lord said unto Samuel, “Look not on his countenance or on the height of his stature, because I have refused him; for the Lord seeth not as man seeth. For man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.”
